Envision Utah is a nonprofit public/private partnership that employs innovative tools and approaches to facilitate informed public involvement to explore land use, transportation, and environmental solutions to the challenges presented by growth.

Additional Information

The Greater Wasatch Area is projected to increase from 1.9 million people in 2000 (a population slightly larger than the Sacramento metro area) to 3.1 million by 2030 (a population slightly smaller than the current Phoenix metro area), a growth rate approximately twice the national average. Two-thirds of the new growth will be our own children and grandchildren. The population is projected to increase by an average of 42,000 residents a year, a population about the current size of Logan. Envision Utah is a nationally recognized partnership which helps citizens, governments, businesses, and interest groups collaborate to build economically and environmentally sustainable communities and regions. We act today so future generations of Utahns will not someday ask, “Why didn’t you do something?”
