Mission Statement
We serve Utah&039;s children by finding, educating, and nurturing families to meet the needs of children in foster care.
Organization Profile
Utah Foster Care Foundation is a private 501(c)3 organization that finds, trains and supports foster and adoptive families for Utah’s children in foster care. The Foundation believes that stable and loving families are the best place for children in out-of-home care until they can be reunited with their families or placed in a permanent adoptive home.
Additional Information
Utah Foster Care Foundation is able to accept assistance from the community and its business partners in the following ways:
Cash donations to support:
• Unrestricted cash donations—to assist in areas of greatest need
• Wishing Well Fund—small grants for children in foster care to normalize life
• Aspen Grove Foster/Adoptive Family Camp
• Giving Tree Program—ensures that children in foster care receive a normal Christmas
Other ways to help:
• Volunteers—any businesses or individuals in the community that wish to volunteer with the Foundation may do so at any of our events throughout the year.
• Partners in Parenting—offering discounts on services and products to licensed foster/adoptive families
• In-kind donations—this may include new clothing, or a variety of other items that can be distributed to foster/adoptive families including new or used: computers, books, bicycles, etc.
