Mission Statement
The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake is, “To inspire and enable the youth in our communities, especially those who need us most, to become caring and responsible individuals through guidance-oriented adult relationships and engagement in a variety of enriching activities within a safe environment.”

Organization Profile
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake is a 501(c) (3) not- for- profit serving youth ages 6-18 in four Club locations: Sugarhouse, Capitol West, Lied and Tooele. Membership dues of only $10 per year make sure all kids can afford to belong. The Clubs are open during critical after-school and summer hours providing support for youth who are at-risk for crime and academic failure due to their surroundings and environment.

We serve over 400 youth each day at our four Boys & Girls Club locations. By providing safe, fun and nurturing environments with trained and dedicated staff, we are able to guide our members to make positive choices in their lives and for their futures

Additional Information

Boys & Girls Clubs have unique characteristics that set them apart from other youth serving organizations. We are building centered – our neighborhood-based facilities are used exclusively for youth programs. We have professional staff – trained, youth development professionals, supplemented by volunteers, implement our programs and develop guidance-oriented relationships with our members. We are for all kids – there are no criteria for Club membership. All kids are welcomed.
